Living in the countryside but working in the city is a way of life that has shaped me and meets my needs in all possible ways. Born and brought up in the Canton of Aargau, this region is my home; it is where I live with my family and where I play an active part in village life.
After my basic training in technology, I chose a career in industry where the positions I held include Customer Service Manager, Quality Management Department Manager and Production Manager. Training and development remains and has always been an important part of my professional life. On my own initiative I studied Process Management at the SFB (Education Centre in Dietikon), Quality Management at the SAQ (Swiss Association for Quality) and Information Technology alongside my work for an international company. My subsequent studies for a Bachelor of Business Administration ("Betriebökomom") provided my entry into the service sector where, as General Manager of a company, I was responsible for its restructuring and successful repositioning.
My experience of life and management as well as the pleasure I gain from meeting many different types of people in the course of a day led me into consultancy in 2001. In this line of work, I held a senior management position for several years at a multinational interim management provider where my tasks involved recruiting managers capable of operating across international borders. As well as working in Switzerland, I have worked extensively in Germany, Austria and Russia. I also possess in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of Executive Search. During this time I added to the depth of my specialist skills by attending training courses in coaching, graphology and communication.
I like to spend my leisure time in nature and I gain particular pleasure from managing the forest I own - an occupation which also unleashes additional energy. My daily commitment is based on the principle that "Confident and trusting interaction with people and the assessment of their personalities form the basis of sustainable success".
