At Grass & Partner, my focus is on coaching managers.

Over the past twenty years I have been active in wide variety of management consultancies and have therefore always been in an advisory role.

Having completed a bank apprenticeship and business studies in Münster as well as a the European Business School, I trained at Roland Berger in Berlin how to turn around companies in difficult situations. I soon swapped sides and went to work for a client, where in my role as Chief Restructuring Officer, I successfully restructured a medium-sized company, setting it up for sustainable success.

At Stern Stewart in Munich, I was introduced to the “art of adding value” to a company. Key element being, that it never is about the interests of an individual, but always about the overall view of all stakeholders involved.

For the past ten years, I was employed by the Volkswagen Group, where I worked in the internal management consultancy called Volkswagen Consulting. There I built up the Performance Transformation team, which I subsequently lead. The aim was to increase performance in order to subsequently invest in the transformation of the respective unit. It was particularly instructive for me to accompany and support the automotive industry in its current far-reaching transformation.

With increasing experience in consulting and HR responsibility, the coaching aspects have come more and more to the fore in my career. Developing a logically sound strategy is not sufficient. The key to success lies in the ability to inspire employees to implement the new strategy, whereby the achievement of goals is paramount at all times.

At Grass & Partner I want to put the coaching of managers at the centre of my work.

At the same time, promoting entrepreneurship. It is a particular concern of mine to help other people in their transition to self-employment. I know the ups and downs of this experience personally from my past. And above all, I know how to deal with them so that the lows become fewer and the highs gain the upper hand. I want to pass on this knowledge to the clients of Grass & Partner.

You are an HR Leader who must dismiss employees?                                                                                                                                                                                                     We shall take care of them, as part of the process we shall develop a tailor-made programme that leads to a new professional activity for the candidate.

As an HR Leader you are looking to hire employees and wish to retain them?                                                                                                                                                             We shall accompany the onboarding process. Furthermore, we shall care for their spouse if the new job entails a relocation. Moreover, we are experts when it comes to “Late Careers” and in designing careers for clients who are over 50.
