The past makes us who we are. Visions are essential for our future development. However, the only point in time in which we can really make a difference and stimulate change lies in the present moment. Especially in times of a professional reorientation, the focus on the here and now is vital. To me, living in the present moment means to have available energy for current activities, so that I can consciously shape the future.

My professional career began with a bank apprenticeship, followed by both work and language stays in Geneva and England. After that, I completed my studies as a Business Economist, at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. During my time as a working student, I taught commercial subjects in Lucerne, that is when I discovered how fascinated I was by people, their talents and their professional backgrounds. When working as an HR Business Partner at one of the Big Four auditing companies, I soon took on strategic HR tasks, this being in addition to my operational HR Management duties, while simultaneously completing my part-time post-graduate studies in Personnel Management at IAP Zurich.

I started my consulting career as Managing Director of a Zurich-based Human Resources Consulting firm. After several mergers I was once again working for one of the Big Four companies, where I was Head of the Human Resources Consulting division managing teams in Zurich, Berne, Geneva, and Lausanne. The focus had been on establishing and expanding the Executive Search and Selection service for the banking, finance, and pharmaceutical sectors. Filling management positions included both questions related to employment and contract law as well as to compensation and benefits structuring. Human Resources interim mandates as well as the execution and marketing of salary studies in the banking sector, formed another part of my responsibilities.

In order to optimise family and professional commitment, I, as a member of the board as well as
co-owner of an engineering company, had taken over the management of finance and accounting, including Human Resources management. After private changes, I oriented myself professionally in executive functions in consulting and in addition, completed the training as Management Coach MCA with Dr. Peter Müri. For the past ten years, I worked as a Human Resources Manager Switzerland for the Sales and Marketing Organisation of an international leader in health management. In doing so, I deepened my Human Resources skills in the areas of change management, business coaching and as a project manager in the case of divestments of company parts as well as the integration of new companies. Talent management, succession planning and organisational design were just as much a part of my multifaceted tasks as was separation management. People and companies in change processes had always been at the centre of my work, which lead to the realisation that nothing is more constant than change.
