«He who knows his destination will find the way»

(Laotse)

In the many stages of our lifetime, in sport, culture, our private lives as well as in our careers, we experience both success and failure. What is important is that as each result is achieved, a new goal emerges and a new path begins.

After a basic education in the retail trade culminating in a merchandising diploma, I was challenged by the IT sector, at that time still in its infancy, in which – over some 15 years – I was able to gather a great deal of experience in distribution and marketing. In the process I also got to know the complex and interesting world of advising and coaching employees.

In the mid 90's, training and motivating people brought me to my part-time occupation as lecturer in marketing and business economics at the Feusi Training Centre, the Bern Private School of Economics and at the SAWI School in Biel. During in-service training and further education at Bern University and at the polytechnics, I further broadened my knowledge of marketing and management and graduated from the Zurich School of Economics with an MBA.

In my position as international marketing manager with larger companies in the investment goods and service industry sector, I also experienced the reality of and co-formulated mergers, reorganisations, organisational development and change management projects. These experiences are of great benefit to my remit here with Grass & Partner.

As a former team athlete and board member of a prominent Swiss swimming club, together with my comrades over many years I have come to know in my gut the fine dividing line between victory and defeat and know today that it is not just the direction, but the clear and consistent pursuit of a goal that is the key to success.

Knowledge enhanced with experience results in a great potential for successfully going down the road to the goal. I would like to place this potential at your disposal to enable us to achieve success – our common goal – together.

I am looking forward to our first discussion.
