Growing up in a family business, I became acquainted with the world of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship at an early age. I made my professional entry through a baker’s apprenticeship in my parents’ business. However, a flour dust allergy confronted me with a sudden professional reorientation. This experience and the lived values of craftsmanship, such as quality and reliability, continue to play important roles in my daily work today.

I decided to train as an industrial clerk and study business administration with a focus on marketing communication, including semesters abroad in Birmingham, England, and New York City, USA.

Inspired by the experience abroad during my studies, I initially worked for two years at the global law firm Herbert Smith in London. The multifaceted work as a consultant and the opportunity to work in a wide variety of industries fascinated me. Through further training, such as an MBA degree with a focus on International Management Consulting, I deepened my specialist and methodological knowledge. I have been active in the consulting industry for around 25 years now. Through various expert and management functions, I acquired extensive knowledge, particularly in sales, marketing, and communication, and got to know both internationally oriented consulting firms such as PwC and Clifford Chance as well as medium-sized creative agencies.

For about 10 years, my focus has been on HR consulting with an emphasis on Workforce Transformation. In this role, I support organizations in change processes as well as teams and individuals in their career development.
