My international experience in Human Resource Management, negotiation strategy, leadership, and coaching is available to our clients to promote their careers.

As a child, I could not have guessed that the above-mentioned motto and its immense radiance on the Central European Age of Enlightenment would shape and influence my nature and development so strongly. Already in my young years, there were often confrontations with children and especially with adults, or rather with my Italian patriarchal parental home. Following the example of my brother, who is 7 years older and a great role model, I knew early on how to communicate my own opinion. So it was often said in annoyance: “Do you always have to discuss everything and defend your own opinion so vehemently!”. It wasn’t until my high school years that the “penny dropped.” At that time, my exemplary history teacher knew how to show me the meaning of this supposedly simple sentence: “I think, therefore I am.” Not only “am” I, but I am “THE helmsman/woman” of my thoughts, my actions, and ultimately of my life!

Inspired by this enlightened insight, I no longer wanted to become a “Drämmeler” (tram driver) or a pediatrician. Rather, I wanted to understand why the individual behaves as can be observed – so often supposedly irrationally. With this, I wanted to enlighten people as employees and especially as managers on the one hand and support them in their development in a liberal economic order. That’s why I started studying psychology as a major and economics & HRM as a minor in Basel, which I was later able to complete with a Master’s in Economic and Social Psychology. Already during this time, I worked on the side in a large Swiss bank as an archivist and later as an IT supporter/consultant as well as a communication trainer. After that, my path led via an SAP IT consultant function to HR management at large pharmaceutical groups and later at a leading FMCG company. During 15 years in various functions, I was able to learn and apply the HR craft, from operational business to strategy. In these demanding roles, advising and supporting top management, I got to know the exciting and interesting, as well as complex world of leading and coaching individuals. Rounded off with a Master of Advanced Studies in Human Resource Management, I now have sound knowledge and skills in the entire value chain of modern human resources management, especially in consulting and project work for mergers, reorganizations, organizational development, and change and talent management.

Growing up in multicultural Klein-Basel with Sicilian roots, I was guided early on by values such as honesty, openness, optimism, and appreciation, which significantly shaped the development of my personality and influence my thinking and actions today.
