(Antoine de Saint-Exupery)
With gratitude, I can say at the outset: during my career, I have often had the opportunity to change the direction of my gaze. I completed my modern languages high school in Burgdorf. I saw the unique opportunity to live out my interest in languages. Curiosity.
My personal development and life experience were particularly shaped during my high school year in San Francisco. As a young person, it became clear to me that besides my home country Switzerland, there are other places on earth where people like me live – some in an almost identical everyday life, some in a completely different one. Diversity of perspectives.
I studied Business Administration at the University of Bern. As an Erasmus student in France, I deepened my studies in Political Science. Taking a different look at my chosen subjects was an enriching experience. Variety.
My work as a nursing assistant, which I was able to pursue alongside my university life, satisfied my need for exchange and contact, combined with a meaningful activity. I was impressed there by both the staff and the residents, who together use their resources to create a dignified and human everyday life. It was clear to me: contact, curiosity, initiative, mutual support, and development are elements that also drive me in the business environment. Changing sides.
My professional stations gave me valuable insights into various industries, companies, activities, and countries. Initially in an exciting sales role in retail, it was then always my goal to become active in an HR function. Change of direction.
As an HR professional, I have been able to gain valuable experience over many years. First in an industrial production plant, then in three international companies in the healthcare industry. I managed and accompanied change and integration projects from the HR side, further developed talent and performance management, trained managers in these topics, and stood by my clients as a sparring partner. Coaching.
In the spirit of “Swissness,” I looked after the concerns of Swiss ambassadors in Switzerland’s external network at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA. Reorientation.
In which direction would you like to look? Let us create vision together – clear, transparent, trustful. I look forward to meeting you!
