(George Eliot)
I spent my youth and my first school years in Basel. Later, I decided to leave high school and start an apprenticeship in an insurance company. Here I discovered not only my interest in business, but also the opportunity to advance professionally while at the same time pursuing my passion for football.
My studies in business economics, as well as a six-month stay in the USA, brought me valuable personal and professional experiences, which I used to enter the banking industry. During my time at the banks, however, I quickly realized that I could develop my strengths particularly in marketing. This led me to marketing management training and, among other things, to the senior management of what was then the largest regional bank, where I was able to make a big difference. This experience later helped me as a Managing Director in the pharmaceutical industry to not only increase brand awareness but also to sustainably change the corporate culture.
Personal considerations finally led me to self-employment. There I discovered my passion for coaching and outplacement. This phase of my life was characterized by intensive personal development – both professionally and privately. I am particularly proud of my two adult children, who are now successfully following their own paths.
Today, I bring my experience from business, marketing, leadership and consulting to support people in mastering professional challenges, developing new perspectives and writing their own success stories. As a Senior Consultant / Partner at Grass & Partner, I want to continue exactly this – accompanying and motivating people and helping them to achieve their goals. This work fills me with great satisfaction and drives me to continuously work on my own further development.
Because one thing I have learned again and again: It is never too late to take new paths – and to get the best out of yourself and your own possibilities.
