As a young boy, I dreamed of becoming a professional ice hockey player. For a short but formative period, I had the opportunity to live that dream. However, injuries forced me to change direction at an early age. This experience shaped me: we cannot always influence what happens to us – but we can decide how we respond and which course we choose to take.

Growing up in a mountain village in the Valais region of Switzerland, I developed an early curiosity about people, cultures and the wider world. Travelling with my ice hockey team and my family, and later with friends and acquaintances, broadened my horizons and sharpened my appreciation of different perspectives.

My professional career began as a commercial employee at Winterthur Life, now AXA, in Sion. I subsequently completed a Bachelor’s degree in IT and Business at HES-SO. This was followed by numerous “on-the-job” development programmes, a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Fundamentals of Business Management at the University of Zurich in 2013, and certification as a Board Director (ZfU) in 2024.

Early in my career as a Key Account Manager, I discovered my passion for consulting, client relationships and sales. Today, I look back on more than 25 years of leadership experience. As a CEO, co-owner and member of executive management teams, I have led companies and larger organisations, built teams, managed transformations and M&A processes, and developed and implemented new business models.

People have always been at the heart of my work. I enjoy working with individuals and teams who want to make a difference. I am motivated by identifying talent, challenging and developing people, and aligning individual strengths with shared goals.

My advice is grounded in experience, not theory. I understand the responsibility that comes with making decisions at the highest level of an organisation. I know what it means to implement change, navigate difficult situations, make decisions and take responsibility for their consequences.

My approach is deliberately pragmatic:
Listen. Understand. Create clarity. Move forward together.
My areas of expertise include Leadership, Business Development, Change Management, Reorganisations and Turnaround Management. German and French are my native languages, complemented by English, Spanish and Italian.

Despite all technological advances – particularly in artificial intelligence – I believe that people must remain at the centre. Successful companies are built on strong teams, clear leadership and the continuous development of every individual.
